The last 18 days have been a whirlwind of Northberry Construction activity, will work through the backlog of updates in the coming days.  By May 7th, the deck and stair railings were complete… a bit safer that way and we have two brand new garage doors!

The electrical wiring was completed last Saturday – Thank you to my bro Ben and his helper Clayton.  Passed inspections (of course) and PGE has already installed the meter and connected us to the grid (see upper left).  Notice all the exterior trim – thank you to Chris Davis for such beautiful plans and to Mikey and Nick (Compound Construction LLC) for gettin er done! 

Inside the slider to the future deck/balcony has been installed – yes, MORE natural light!  Everything is insulated and the drywall is well underway.  Northberry will be a cozy, light-filled space, perfect for relaxing or as a home base for your Portland or Oregon adventures.

Curbside, the adjacent holes in the street for the new water and gas lines were filled in with cement (yes – at two different time points – heaven forbid one utility spend their cement for another utility).  Oh and look some “artistic vandalism” wonder how that happened….
